# Russian strikes kill four near Kyiv while Ukrainian drones injure 13 in Belgorod

Ukraine's air force said it intercepted 135 of 151 drones overnight, and Zelenskyy told reporters in Belgrade that deliveries of Patriot interceptors have slowed from a year ago.

Both capitals spent the night attacking each other's civilian-adjacent infrastructure. Ukraine's air force said Russia launched 151 drones and six ballistic missiles, and that 135 of the drones were downed or intercepted.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made the most consequential point of the day while on his first official visit to Serbia, a country that has kept close ties with Moscow. Ballistic missiles fired in short salvos are the hardest type of attack for Ukraine to stop, and the supply of interceptors is what limits how much of each salvo Ukraine can block.

The visit carries significance beyond the war itself. Serbia is a candidate for European Union membership that has refused to join sanctions on Russia, and it produces ammunition that has reached Ukrainian units through intermediaries. Kyiv is now seeking support from states that have tried to avoid taking sides.
