Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Polylog Labs LLC ("Polylog," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use polylog.news and our related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we use Google as our authentication provider. We receive the email address and basic profile information associated with the Google account you choose to sign in with. We use this to create and identify your account.
- Your preferences. To personalize your briefings, we store the settings you choose, such as topics and sources you follow, language, delivery times, and timezone.
- Delivery information. If you opt into email or Telegram delivery, we store the address or identifier needed to send your briefings to that channel.
- Usage and analytics data. We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the Service is used (for example, which pages are visited). This is privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics; it is not used to build advertising profiles.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and handles your card details directly. Polylog does not receive or store your full payment card information.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the Service; authenticate you and secure your account; generate and deliver the briefings you have configured; process subscriptions and payments (through Stripe); communicate with you about your account and the Service; understand and improve how the Service is used; and comply with our legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, including Google (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), our email-delivery provider [EMAIL PROVIDER], Telegram (where you have linked it for delivery), and our analytics and hosting providers, and only as needed for them to perform those functions. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
4. Data retention
We keep your account information and preferences for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information except where we are required to retain it (for example, billing records needed for tax or accounting purposes).
5. Your choices
You can update your preferences and delivery settings at any time from your account settings, and you can unlink optional delivery channels such as Telegram. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@polylog.news.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes take effect when posted.
