Terms of Service

Last updated: May 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Polylog Labs LLC ("Polylog," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of polylog.news and the briefings, emails, applications, and related services we offer (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Polylog is operated by Polylog Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its mailing address at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. You can reach us at support@polylog.news.

2. What Polylog is

Polylog is a subscription news and information publication. We report on the global economy: we gather reporting from sources around the world, distill what matters, and deliver it as a clear daily briefing. A free shared edition is published to everyone; paid subscriptions add briefings personalized to the topics and sources a reader chooses to follow. "Personalization" refers only to which subjects and sources appear in your briefing, nothing more.

The Service is journalism. It exists to inform you, not to direct your decisions. Please also read Section 11, which explains in plain terms what Polylog is and is not.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@polylog.news if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and automatic renewal

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. When you subscribe, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the plan price you selected on a recurring basis.

  • Recurring charge. Subscriptions are billed in advance, either monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose, at the price shown at checkout.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (each month for monthly plans, each year for annual plans), at the then-current price for your plan, and continues until you cancel.
  • Payment. Payments are collected and processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Polylog does not receive or store your full card details. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
  • Price changes. We may change subscription prices. If we do, we will give you advance notice, and any change applies only to billing periods that begin after the change takes effect.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation is self-serve: you can turn off renewal yourself from your account settings, and you do not need to email us to cancel.

When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing but remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that period ends, your account reverts to the free Global Briefing.

Because the cost of producing a billing period's briefings is incurred up front, the current billing period is non-refundable, and cancelling partway through a period does not generate a partial or pro-rated refund for the remainder of that period. This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@polylog.news and we will look into it.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel: monthly plans renew each month and annual plans renew each year, at the then-current price for your plan (see Section 4 for the full billing terms).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: resell, redistribute, or publicly republish our briefings except as expressly permitted; scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content; share your account or credentials in a way that exceeds the access your subscription provides; attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or use the Service in violation of any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property and licensing

The briefings, editorial selection, summaries, and original text Polylog produces are owned by Polylog Labs LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. Polylog does not claim ownership of the underlying third-party reporting it draws on; where we rely on outside sources, we credit and link to them, and those sources remain the property of their respective owners.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and read the content for your own use. This license does not permit redistribution, resale, or use of the content to build a competing product.

8. AI-generated content

Polylog's briefings are produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence and large language models, under human editorial review. AI systems can make mistakes, including stating something inaccurate or incomplete in a confident tone. While we review and edit our output, we do not guarantee that every briefing is free of error, and you should verify anything important against primary sources before relying on it.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate, current, or reliable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polylog Labs LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or losses of any kind arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. What Polylog is and isn't

We want there to be no confusion about the nature of the Service:

  • Polylog is a news and information publication. It reports on the economy and the wider world.
  • Polylog never tells anyone what to buy, sell, or hold. Our briefings are informational. A briefing may happen to support, or run counter to, any given investment strategy, but it is reporting, not a recommendation, and nothing in it should be treated as advice or a solicitation to engage in any transaction.
  • Polylog does not handle your money or assets. We do not hold, manage, transfer, or invest customer funds or assets. The only thing you pay for is access to our content, and that payment is processed by Stripe.
  • Polylog is not a regulated financial entity. We are not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, or money services business, and we are not registered or regulated as any of these. Use of the Service creates no advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and us.

Decisions you make after reading our content are your own, and any reliance you place on the content is at your own risk.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
