Turkish Prosecutors Freeze 131 Investment Funds as Market-Manipulation Case Reaches the Ruling Party

The Turkish daily Cumhuriyet reported that Kerim Toker, deputy provincial chair of the party in Aydin, resigned from all party positions on the day of his arrest in the investigation. A deputy chair of the party, Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya, has also resigned over the allegations.
