Coinkite Forces Dice Rolls on New Coldcard Seeds After Entropy Bug Drained Bitcoin Wallets
A build configuration error from a March 2021 firmware release left seed generation relying on a weak software random number source, and attackers began brute-forcing the results on July 30.
